Agile coaching was the single highest paid job in the list of 25 best jobs for 2019 created by Indeed.com. This is likely to spark more interest and result in a large influx of new coaches into the profession. But wait, how exactly does one become an agile coach? Is it simply a matter of getting CSM in a 2-day class and then updating your title on your business card? Do you even need experience working with an on Agile teams? Do you need experience with Scrum, Kanban or XP? Agile Coach is more than just a title and there aren’t shortcuts to becoming an Agile Coach. This session will dispel some of the mythology around agile coaching, and outline various paths to a career in Agile Coaching including experience, training, and certifications. We will also share some tips from experienced coaches on how to succeed.<\/p>\n
